These fingerless mitts are fun to knit and have a good fit, with a length of about 18 cm and a circumference of about 20 cm. The thumb gusset is single-sided and measures about 4 cm from base to top.

The mitts are knitted in the round with 2.5 mm double-pointed needles or with a 2.5 mm circular needle for magic loop. A fine-stranded yarn like Rauma Finull is recommended, or any other yarn that matches the specified gauge of 32 stitches and 36 rows in pattern knitting = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking.

One pair requires approximately 20–30 g of main color and 20–30 g of contrasting color, which makes these designs perfect for thoughtful color choices – and excellent for using up beautiful yarn scraps.
